This website is specifically designed to counteract what I believe is "Political Correctness" run a muck. The ever increasing size limits and shortened seasons have caused excessive hardship on the fisherman and all the businesses that are associated with it. The bureaucrats in the National Marine Fisheries Department could care less about any information supplied by fisherman, and consider any input as merely "anecdotal."

We have seen some of the best fishing for fluke this year that we have encountered in many years which would indicate to most fisherman that the species is in very good shape. Will we all be punished next year for catching too many fish??? Worse yet, we could have a 19 1/2 inch size limit like New York ? A recent article in the Asbury Park Press reported that a party boat fleet out of Montauk, NY was throwing overboard more than 400 fish per trip of perfectly good eating fluke.

I can't possibly, in this introduction, list all my grievances but will attempt to in the future. It is my hope that by selling these, 'Hook 'Em and Hack 'Em ' shirts, disgruntled fisherman from all over will be able to demonstrate that we are fed up and demand a more common sense approach. We also need to rein in the "Environmental Nazi" influence on so called Fisheries experts.
